Skunks – May 1997 – Colorado Central Magazine
The deskunking recipe was formulated by Paul Krebaum, a chemist in Illinois, and publicized by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. It appeared in our September, 1996, edition, and it goes like this:
1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 teaspoon liquid soap
Mix them and and wash your afflicted critter.
