Tabor Opera House Performances for 2005

July 23: The Denver Concert Band performs at 7 p.m., admission $5.

August 6: A Portrait of Molly Brown, a fast-paced portrayal of Colorado’s legendary heroine, at 7 p.m., $7 in advance, $10 at the door.

August 13: “Tea and Tidbits with Westons.” Dress in period costume and join the newly discovered Weston family for tea and a living history lesson, at 2 p.m. Admission is $7 in advance or $10 at the door. Reservations recommended.

August 27: “Million Dollar Baby,” the rags-to-riches story of Colorado’s legendary Silver Queen, Baby Doe Tabor, at 7 p.m. Admission is $7 in advance, $10 at the door.

September 3 & 4: “Dueling Divas,” Elizabeth Bond and Lori Isley Lynn sing in concert on September 3 at 7 p.m., and on the 4th at 2 p.m., $15 adults, $8 children 17 and under.

September 17: “Cowboy Autumn in the Rockies,” presents country music at 2 p.m. with Bob Bean’s Sagebrush Alley live on stage, reminiscent of the Grand Ole Opry days. $7 in advance, $10 at the door.

September 17: Popular Western singer Jon Chandler performs at 7 p.m., as a tribute to pioneer Sheriff Martin Duggan, who’s buried in Riverside Cemetery. Proceeds will go for a headstone to mark the sheriff’s grave. Admission is $13.
